🔧 Delicats Update — The Molds Are Ready! 💜

Exciting news! With the manufacturer we've selected specifically for the Delicats collection, production is already moving forward: the molds are now complete and the pins have been engraved — next up: enamel color filling! 🎨



We’re honestly really impressed by how smooth communication has been with them so far, too. They’ve been fast, organized, and proactive — and it really shows. Considering we’re working on such a large batch of designs, it’s a huge relief to see that things are now progressing steadily without further delays. 🥹🐾

This mold stage is one of the most crucial (and usually time-consuming) parts of the whole process, so having it completed already means we're right on track now.

🐈‍⬛✨ Delicats Production Has Begun — Smooth & Steady Start! 🐾

We have great news from the new manufacturer we selected specifically to handle the Delicats collection — things are going smoothly already! 😺
Communication has been efficient and responsive so far with them too, and they were super fast in preparing the first production artworks.

We're happy to say that production is now officially underway! 🎉


 
The first pin to enter the production line is none other than Meowgician — one of your absolute favorites from the campaign 🐈‍⬛💜
 

This time, we’ve decided to proceed in small batches. After a lot of previous trial and error, we realized that even manufacturers can get overwhelmed when handling too many designs at once (something we honestly didn’t think could happen, considering they manage multiple clients at once — each with their own pin batches!)
— and that can slow down production and affect communication a lot.   

With 40+ designs in this collection, the production files are also quite hard to manage all at once, and mistakes are way more likely when everything is lumped together. So this time, we’re playing it safe!


We can't wait to receive the first production photos and share them with you all — it’s starting to feel real again, and we’re excited to finally see all the kitties come to life 🪄🐈‍⬛

🐱 July Update 3 – Production is finally starting (with a small twist!)

  • We've received good early results from new manufacturer test
  • We're no longer waiting for one single supplier — Delicats production starts now!

  • Other campaigns will move forward in parallel, each with their own manufacturer

Hi everyone!

We’re back with another quick but important update — and this time, we have a real change in direction to share with you:
over the past few months, even while dealing with setbacks, we haven’t been standing still. We've been actively testing several new manufacturers by having small batches/samples made. Some of them have already shown great communication and promising quality — even if we’ve only seen very early samples so far.

🛠️ So what’s changing?
Initially (and until just a few days ago), we wanted to wait for the full production of Delidragons to finish before moving forward with Delicats (and the other pending projects), as previously said. Our plan was to test and stick to one (single) new “trusted” manufacturer, replacing the old trusted one we worked with for years.

Why? Because managing different manufacturers for the same type of product is messy — lots of back and forth, different reps, different systems, and a higher risk of errors. That’s why we had always avoided this approach until now!

But now that we've received a very encouraging first result from another manufacturer we've tested — even if it's still at a very early stage — we've decided it’s no longer worth putting every campaign in a long queue with just one partner.
 Instead, we’ll move forward producing our collections with multiple manufacturers in parallel (as soon as each one is confirmed with good communication/sample) — to avoid further unnecessary delays. 


✅ What this means for Delicats:
We're now moving ahead!
  •  We'll start locking orders and charging the remaining balances to officially begin production. Yay!

Again, we know the wait has been long — longer than any of us ever imagined — and we’re truly sorry for that.
So, as a small thank-you for your patience, we’ll include extra freebies with your Delicats rewards during packaging, as many as we can manage at that time!


  • We're also actively looking for a fulfillment partner to help us with packing and shipping the rewards, so we can speed things up as much as possible once production is complete (though this may mean we won't be able to include extra freebies during packing, as we would if we were handling fulfillment ourselves).

🐱 July Update 2 – Progress is Finally Happening! 🐾

Hi everyone!

 We have good news to share — and we also want to take a moment to address some of the recent concerns that have come up in the comments.

🛠️ Delidragons production is finally moving well — and Delicats will follow soon!
We just received the first mold sample photo for one of the Delidragons pins from our new manufacturer — and the results are already looking significantly better than anything we received from the previous ones.

Here is the beautiful mold they made for one of our Delidragons pins:

✨ If this manufacturer proves to be reliable (and so far, we’re feeling confident), we’ll finally be able to move forward with all pending campaigns very soon, including Delicats.

This is the progress we’ve been waiting months to see, and we’re cautiously optimistic!


💬 About the recent comments and concerns...
We know some of you are feeling anxious, upset, or even misled.
First of all, we hear you, and we understand that waiting this long — especially without a fixed timeline — is incredibly frustrating.

That said, we want to clarify a few things (which we’ve also explained in detailed public replies in the previous update post):
  • ❌ We are not using new campaigns to fund old ones. Each campaign is independent.
  • 🧾 Refunds aren’t possible due to how crowdfunding works and how taxes are handled in our country — even if production hasn’t started yet.
  • 📢 We’ve never hidden anything. Delays, setbacks, our mental health, our efforts — it’s all been documented publicly.
  • 🧠 We are two neurodivergent creators without any kind of support, doing our best to stay afloat, stay honest, and fulfill every promise we’ve made — as we’ve done for years.

We know trust can wear thin over time, and that’s why we’re here, still communicating, still working, and still committed to making sure every single one of you receives what you pledged for.


We also know this has been a long and stressful wait — for you and for us.
 But just a reminder: we’ve fulfilled every campaign we’ve ever launched so far, and this one (or any other one pending) will be no different.
There’s a public track record of years of hard work and commitment that we’re proud of — and we’re still here, doing our best.
Moving forward, we’ll make the current delay even more visible at the top of future campaigns, to make sure expectations are always clear.
Transparency is something we deeply care about — and we’ll do our best to keep improving how we communicate, every step of the way.


The good news is: a new, realistic timeline will be shared very soon since things are finally moving in the right direction.

 Your rewards will come. And we’ll keep updating you every new step of the way as much as we can.

Production Pending — Waiting for the Green Light

Hi everyone,
We just wanted to send a little update from behind the scenes regarding Delicats. We know things have been quiet for a while — and we're sorry for the long silence.

The truth is, the production for this campaign is still on hold. We're currently focusing all our energy on resolving the issues with the Delidragons pins, which require careful coordination with a new manufacturer. Until that process is stable and successful, we can't move forward with other collections — even smaller ones like this.

It’s not because we’ve forgotten Delicats — quite the opposite! We love this theme, and it means a lot to us. But since switching manufacturers is a big commitment (financially and logistically), we want to be 100% sure things are working before we start another batch.

We promise this project is still alive and important to us. Thank you so much for your kindness and patience — it really helps more than you know. 💛

Naturally, once we know for sure that the new manufacturer is reliable — and the Delidragons pins come out as they should — everything will move much more smoothly from that point on.
Having a trusted production partner will allow us to move forward with Delicats (and other pending collections) with greater confidence, faster timelines, and much less back-and-forth. We’re really hoping this transition will mark a turning point for how we handle large-scale projects moving forward.
